BMRC History

Revised: 1/17/23
Beaverton Modular Railroad Club was started January, 1989 with only 5 members.

It was solely a modular railroad club at that time, and traveling anywhere there was an invitation to set up for a show. During that time several shows were set up at shopping malls, in the corridors, that would now be occupied by Kiosks of today.

In 1998, we opened and grew our train layout at Alpenrose Dairy, in Dairyville, in what was the old shooting gallery. We had to vacate Alpenrose in 2020 due to the property being sold. We are currently looking for a new home.

We still have our modular layouts which are ever expanding. Currently they can spread out to be 60 feet by 18 feet.

We are a 501 (3) (c) not for profit Oregon corporation.
