TRAIN OPERATIONS

Train Operations is a more advanced technique in running your model railway realistically. The main goal of train operations is to safely and efficiently coordinate simultaneous train movements.

The operations plan is a listing of the types of trains to be run (through freights, interchange, locals, way freights, passenger, and commuter trains), the number of each, their function and schedules. The operations plan also determines priority which is reflected in the train schedule.

**NEW** Train Operations will be held on the third Friday of the month at 7:00pm. Each Operation will focus on a specific train era i.e., 1945-1955. All trains must match this time period for that evening. Please watch the club calendar for current times and events.

Each club member is issued a club number to be placed on the bottom of their equipment. Because, when cars are moved around the layout, at the end of the work day you can find the equipment that came with you.
